Overview
Most booking apps ask “what restaurant?” CityServe asks “what’s your mood?” – and lets AI find the venue that fits. Built for markets across Dubai, UAE and the UK, A booking model around human psychology: instead of browsing endless listings, users describe a vibe, and the platform translates it into the right venue, the right moment, the right memory. vi-tech designed and developed CityServe’s mobile app end-to-end – UI/UX, SaaS integration, app development, and software architecture – and went a step further, partnering with CityServe as an equity shareholder. When we believe in a product, we don’t just build it. We invest in it.
The Challenge
Booking platforms have solved discovery – there’s no shortage of listings. What they haven’t solved is decision fatigue: scrolling through hundreds of near-identical options with no real sense of what actually fits how you feel right now. CityServe set out to replace that browsing model entirely, using AI to interpret mood and intent rather than filters and star ratings. That meant building genuinely new territory: an app that had to feel effortless and almost intuitive to the user, while running real psychological and AI-driven logic underneath to map a “vibe” to a venue accurately, every time. Get the interface wrong, and the intelligence goes unnoticed. Get the logic wrong, and the experience breaks trust on the first use.

Our process began by making the abstract concrete: translating “mood” and “vibe” — inherently human, imprecise ideas — into a structured system a machine could act on reliably. From there we moved through design, prototyping, and iterative refinement, testing whether the experience actually felt intuitive before we called it done. The result is a product that treats going out not as a transaction, but as a feeling worth getting right — and a partnership where vi-tech has real skin in the game.
